Opened in HK. Bonus bottle after dinner. Perhaps marginally better than the previous bottle I had on the nose, but the palate is still an acidic mess. Not a fan of this bottle, not a fan of Antonio in general even with his Roch wines. Good to try again but just confirms that this really is not worth going after.

Too acidic, but few years ago this was not bad.

Opened at the Connaught in London. P&P and enjoyed. This was... disappointing. Good nose, stylistically reminiscent of Prieure Roch (makes sense) but slightly more carbonic. The palate on the other hand was an acidic, green mess, and never improved with air. Worth trying Antonio's first vintage but won't seek out again.

2017 is the first vintage of Antonio Quari, winemaker of Domaine Prieure Roch, and the style of this wine is pretty much the same as Domaine Prieure Roch – Natural, cloudy, floral yet untamed. Natural and untamed bouquet of rose petal, sour cherry, sweet strawberries and hints of white pepper. Delicious (if you are into natural wine) and a cheap alternative to DPR. Shame the production is very small and only one cuvee made. (86/100)

Antonio Quari is the winemaker of Domaine Prieure Roch, he started making a natural Pinot Noir from Ladoix Les Briquottes, made in the exact same way as Prieure Roch wines. 100% whole cluster and very minimal sulphur (<1g at bottling). Honestly, this won’t be a crowd pleaser as it has a very untamed natural bouquet. Funky floral nose with stemmy red berries. Gorgeous nose like DPR but needs to be served slightly chilled. (85/100)

Smells more interesting than taste, which is quite diluted. Reminds me of Durieux.
