Screwed up a little on This one. Have had 2 bottles since my first note. Classic tawney hue of a wine of it's age..Shame on me for not giving her a few to unwind because the elegance and sense of place was wonderful

Olddominion poured a bottle of this at a tasting he hosted and it was the best of the bottles I tasted. Beautiful crimson core with considerable bricking. Captivating notes of juniper, sage, eucalyptus, sous-bois, funk, black farm soil, graphite, crushed rocks, and barnyard. The wine tasted as it smell, still showing great acid and a stalwart frame. Drink now. Thanks OD. 91-92.

Drank over two days. The lighter side of Bordeaux with a touch of elegance. Some funk, charming aromatics, including mint and menthol notes. Smooth, polished mouthfeel, well integrated. Delicious, and difficult to put down. 90-91.

Bricking color, almost foul nose. Decent acidity but little to no fruit. Never improved with time. Drink up...buyer beware

Nice, but the flavors didn't seem quite together, brick and pencil lead with not much up front fruit, maybe acidity was out of balance or maybe it was slightly corked.
