Jermann, Pinot Grigio, Venezia Giulia IGT

Nice depth to this wine. All orchard fruits in a demi-sec sort of way, but not cloying nor thin - just right.

Lemon with cedar and light vanilla; well knit; supportive acidity with a soft sweet finish.

Pinot Bianco like; soft with light acidity; apple with sweet finish.

Flavorful and correct. Fatter, fruitier, and lighter on acid than is typical of the Jermann house style. Off vintage perhaps?

By the glass. Again those tropical aromas (pineapple, banana, papaya) predominate over those of fruits or white flowers. Elegance and precision are also lost on the palate where, once again, acidity is there to save the day. A pity to focus the excellent PG of the region in smells and flavors of other latitudes. IMHO. Light-bodied with good acidity and a touch of acerbity, but otherwise your typical summer sipper in terms of complexity.

Light brownish yellow. Caramel, pear , dried rose, cedar wood. Zingy , with smooth texture. Unique. Clean, elegant & round finish with some bitterness.
