Delicious Pinot noir from a great Cowichan Valley winery. Tannins are milder than a typical Pinot, maybe because it cellared a bit. Cherry, but not too much. White pepper. Lovely.

This wine surprised me as my expectation of a Vancouver Island pinot and its ability to deliver a very good wine were set quite low. This is medium to light bodied, has good acidity and a nose of strawberries. It has good length and delivers lots of cherry/dark fruit flavours on the palate. This is a very good and an easy drinking pinot. Will buy more! I will also check out other Producers from Vancouver Island.
