Meget transparent granatfarvet.

Easy drinking, great fruit and balance with a light body making it susceptible to heavy drinking😉

Paired with stir fried pork belly. Simple but delicious. Very good QPR.

Last bottle, holding up great. I missed the 23s but won’t make that same mistake with the 24s.

Excellent summer Nebbiolo, fresh, a little bit frezzy feeling, enjoy with light summer dishes! Serve16-18 degrees!

Chatham. My last of the 2022 vintage, still very good and a crowd pleaser as expected, but perhaps a little out of balance at this age.

A fairly light nebbiolo. Fresh, full of fruit. A bright nose.

My last bottle of this vintage, and I drop my rating three points due to an off-putting candied note that to me implies artificial yeasts. Maybe that's the only way that they can get this unusual and wonderful wine to come out the way it is, but I'm hoping it stays in the background on future vintages.

Wow, does that smell super pretty as it goes. Hmm... and then the palate a little bit green and frisky.

Really just a great wine. An unusual profile for nebbiolo, an earlier reviewer captured it, comparing with pinot, gamay and ruche. I'd throw in Langhe's very own barbera as well. A great alternative to those more common lighter reds.

It's tough not to smile with the simple pleasure that's in this bottle. Bright red fruits - sweet, muddled strawberry and cherry - with a slight bit of green on the edges. Almond skin, earth and a slight hit of tar round out the finish. Light on it's feet, it goes down easy. Lots to like here.

With a bit of bottle age this is even better than before, showing more structure and heft.

Amaro candied cherries, wild strawberry, licorice, slight rose, slight leathery/tarry earthy note. Lots of bright red fruit, very reminiscent of some angostura di amaro candied cherries I made for a dessert this last winter. Great herbaceous quality with some floral and earthy elements balancing it all out. High acidity, medium fine grained tannins, medium body, slight bit of sappy frizzante. Pretty good concentration, and a fairly long finish as well. Incredibly satisfying and thirst quenching. QPR is off the charts …

Kind of halfway between a Langhe red and a rose; rose and cherry up front, tar and earth on the thinner core, finish is tilted towards acidity but still some nice tannin. Liked it best cold and went well with a chicken dish that would have called for pinot, gamay or ruche.

Beautiful nose of Nebbiolo, quite light in flafor as compared to the typical Barolo, much more Barbaresco like. Opened up nicely in the glass and with a decant of an hour or two. Was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious was ... tart cherry with some earthy leathery notes... great QPR, would buy again!

Light in color and body with solid acidity mixed in with the cherry and plum notes along with some herbality. The nose is better than the palate, this works better with food than without.

Light nebiollo notes of cherry and anise. Crunchy red fruit and strawberry hard candy. Medium+ acidity and a pleasant grip in the finish. A warm weather, outside nebbiolo. Edit: revisited this bottle over a year and a half later, and I enjoyed it much more. Made me think of a somewhat flat kriek lambic (unsweetened!) without the funk.

Another bottle of this great wine, but I did an experiment and saved a glass for four days, and it was fabulous, like a classically made Nebbiolo Langhe but ready for drinking sooner.
