Light straw color with fresh cut hay nose. Light on the Riesling and more mineral and tart fruit with a medium light body. Could pass for a white blend of PG, Blanc and Chard.

Light straw color with gooseberry nose. Dry with sharp acid, light stony fruit, gooseberry with a hint of rs in the background. Night two the acid has mellowed and the fruit and body have taken on an enhanced role. Drinking well as a dry white, gooseberry and rhubarb, very clean with out any petrol.

pretty nice but totally outclassed by a Trisaetum estate I had a few nights earlier. Solid buy not memorable.

Sipping this the next day, it's not as apparent, but as a pop and pour this had flavors that made me think this went through malolactic fermentation. It's still there today, but it's no where near as rich feeling than it was yesterday. Nice flavors with good intensity tending toward ripe apples, peaches and limes. Great acidity paired with the small amount of RS extends the finish nicely. Overall a very nice , complex wine, but I don't think I'd …

More fruit forward than the other Ovum rieslings I've opened. Good balance of acid and RS, but not terribly rocky or terrior driven, as advertised. I wonder if the wine will be able to compete with the packaging and the stories behind the wine. Outclassed by a 2010 Eroica during the same sitting, if you can believe it. I liked it, but I'm not smitten.

Wonderfully off-dry with aromas of pears, dried yellow plums, minerals, and sweet hay. The acidity is mouth watering with the nose coming through on the palate. The finish is medium, but the acidity begs for another sip. Overall this is a very good to outstanding riesling.

Crisp and tart. Nice amount of sweetness, like a tart apple and honey.

Nice Riesling. Sweet but not too sweet. Paired with a New Years day gumbo. Paired beautifully.
