Flora Springs, Sauvignon Blanc Soliloquy, Napa Valley

A very nice white blend, subtle. Hints of citrus but not an in-your-face Sauv Blanc. Drank at home as an apéritif (and a treat) after some stressful goings on. To be followed by an Italian dinner and a yet to be selected IT red.

This is a delicious white blend from Napa Valley. Medium plus in body and creamy. Dry on the palate with medium plus acidity. Showing green apples, grapefruits, gooseberries, light vegetables, herbs, minerals and white pepper. Long tangy finish with limes and almonds. Elegant and well balanced. Light golden in color with a yellow tint. Strong nose of gooseberry, limes, grapefruits, light earth, green apples, spices, grass and light sea salt. Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing. Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, green apples, bitter herbs, light vegetables, light tropical fruits, spices, earth and white pepper.
