Tasted at the Barolo and Barbaresco World Opening, NYC. Softer tannins than the Serralunga/classico cru. Quite forward and approachable yet pure and balanced. Cherry, roses amd earth. Seems like a great wine for a restaurant list that is soft and forward yet showing Nebbiolo typicity.

Tannins have melted away. Beginning its drinkable phase. Still has time left though.

I should have listened to what JohnFalstaff said. Classic Barolo but needs much more time.

Nose: cherry, earth, spice. Fragrant and enticing. Taste: still too strong tannins, even after some four hours decantation. Roses, tar, cherry and spices. Finely balanced. Impressive yet delicate, better stay in bottle for three years at least.
