Incanto Chianti Classico Riserva

Opened and poured straight down the drain.

Just a good solid everyday Chianti Classico. Great with pizza. Very bright and fruity, soft tannins.

Pop and pour. On the eye: barely translucent deep purply red, medium-light body. On the nose: leather, dark cherries, plum, barnyard funk. On the tongue: initial red fruit and spice, then acid and leather, then the tannins start to grip a little; less generous extraction than I was expecting, and the fruit gives out disappointingly early.
