Casalone Barbera del Monferrato Bricco Santa Maria

The date on this is completely wrong, but putting this note in because I re-upped and purchased more after drinking this bottle (and another that I never added). This is good, bright barbera, with tangy cherries, a little smoke and underbrush. Monferrato is likely the birthplace of the grape, but now more people associate it with other areas of Piedmont.
