One of the most elegant Saint-Émilions and best vintages from this Chateau over the past decade. The terroir and grape varieties of this wine are perfect. At 59% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, and aged in 65% new oak, this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is smooth and nuanced. Floral with blackberry flavors on the nose. Dark red fruit, tart & juicy, yet retrained. Fruit is well balanced with cedar, tobacco, instant coffee, graphite/slate. Broad structure, fine grain tannins and good length.

A great example of a young St. Emillion. Bright lifting fruit, an ever-present sense of earthiness, mellow tannins, and a rich mouthfeel. I’m sure this will get better, but I doubt my bottles will last that long.

After decanting 1-2 hrs, found this medium + Bodied wine to be very tasty with blackberries & plums. Tannin's are ok and the finish is smooth. Its a bit young and I would give this another 4-5 years in cellar for maximum enjoyment.

Floral and fresh, the black raspberries, spice and plums already show really well today. Medium-bodied, soft, polished and silky, the wine tastes and feels great. There is good freshness and energy here.

Medium-bodied, elegant, soft and fresh, this wine shows ripe, black cherry, plum and cocoa on the nose, palate and finish. Just a few years of age and this will be even better. 90-92 Pts
