deep salmon with copper tint. very expressive aromas and flavours of fresh strawberry, bruised red apple, rhubarb, wet stones, chalk and subtle yeast. dry with somewhat aggressive mousse, and plus acidity. well balanced, structured, and subtly saline on the fairly long finish. enjoyable on its own but very food-friendly. 11.5% AbV; blend of mostly red Baga and white Bical; traditional method with eleven months on the lees.

Purchased for $16. Possibly the most beautiful color on a rosé espumante I've ever seen. Very persistent bubble. Very effervescent. Absolutely delicious notes of juicy red apple, strawberry and raspberry. There's an ever-so-slight hint of sweetness that makes this fun and enjoyable. What a delicious espumante. Another perfect example of why Portuguese espumante is tops!!!!

This seemed closer to the first bottle I had. Has some nice red fruit but seemed a little flat and lacking carbonation. Could have been a slightly off bottle.

This bottle convinced me my first bottle was off. This showed nice vibrant red fruit with some floral notes and a bit of sourdough in the background. Medium acidity. Fairly strong carbonation. Nothing special but very enjoyable for the price.

Not sure if this was an off bottle or not but hardly had any carbonation. Guessing it's an off bottle since the 3B white was very effervescent.

shy nose. much more expressive in the mouth with an impressive amount of richness and fruit. it's full and interesting but lacking acid and intrigue

Popped and poured. Aroma of cherries and roses. Effervescent flavors of cherry and minerals, pleasantly bitter herbal finish. Refreshing, firm backbone, good staying power. Solid summer sipper, great QPR.

Above average sparkling rose. Enjoyable, not boring but not particularly memorable, nicely balanced. There was this funky like-it's-been-aged-on-the-lees-for-a-while note, except it seemed very one-dimensional. Would maybe buy again, and would definitely like to explore more from the producer.

NV, but store website says it’s a batch from 2020. Importer website says 80% Baga and 20% Baical at this moment. Complex bundle of raspberry, strawberry, pink grapefruit, and red Chinese plum. Vividness of aroma, refreshing acidity, juicy suppleness, and purity are all there. The bubble is surprisingly delicate and persistent, a quality that I have never expected from $14 sparkler. Baga is contributing to depth, without showing its typical harshness, I wish more winemaker would follow this style of …

A comparison to Occihipinti going on here. The champion of Baga apparently. Smells of strawberries with some forest floor going on there as well. And a bit of savory and bacon as well. Earthy strawberry notes les and indeed, there it is. And finishes on bacon. Great breakfast wine.

It looks pretty, but I think the strongest flavor is CO2. I taste some light red berry flavor. It would be so interesting to taste this wine without the bubbles. Maybe laughable? There is hardly any flavor here.

Good+ rosé sparkler. Slight texture of sweetness from the fruit and the mousse. Nice acids and a slight white plum. Good finish.

Fresh, delicious bottle, especially for the amazing price. Deep pink color, looks beautiful in the glass. Refreshing, dry, with light strawberry, very food friendly. Bairrada is becoming a favorite region, and Filipa Pato a trusted and beloved producer.

Very pleasant surprise, this espumante really delivers above its pedigree. Bouquet of wild strawberries and some mandarin. Quite refreshing with medium body and nice, fine string of bubbles. Should be enjoyed in the first years of its life.

Fortsatt noe enkel, men relativt mye for pengene.

lighter pink color, crisp clean nose, dry in elegant style. A very nice staple sparkler. Have not had many Portugese sparklers and this is very respectable and great value.

Knochentrocken, heftig, leichte Fruchtnoten. Unkompliziert aber authentisch.

Medium salmon in the glass, soft abundant bubbles giving a pleasant effervescence, wild strawberry, citrus, blood orange, floral note, hint of a soft yeasty creaminess, full bodied, long finish. Very nice.

Rose petals, strawberries, and a bit of tangerine. There's really no yeasty notes that I picked up on. The wine is full on the palate, but being Extra Brut, makes it dry on the finish.

flavorful, dry, and energetic. Classic rose candied red fruit aromatics. Bubbles not too persistent but a good buy for under $15. 88-89

Dry sparking rose. Interesting grapes (Baga and bical). would go great in the summer with BBQ seafood

I am not sure about the vintage and also the producer's webpage does not give any infos. There is a small "L2016" on the back label, so I assume this is the vintage or maybe bottling. The wine is for those seeking intense and aromatic wines. Darker pink colour, nice mousse. The palate is simple, one dimensional, cheap, lacks elegance. Not my cup of fizz, but I am sure it fill find its fans. Great for pool-side easy drink.

Fresh, yeasty, tangy, minerals. Coarse bubbles. Very good value at $15 from Chambers St Wines in NYC.

V2013. PNP. color salmon. mousse has very tiny beads. color is salmon. nose has mostly damp earth and hints of clementine and clove. swishing shows fairly delicate earthy fruit, with modest acid and nuances of tannin. sipping more of the same. the earthiness in this is dominant. decent enough but not my fav. Suspect that it might have been fresher a couple of yrs ago
