Opened in HK. P&P and enjoyed. Bonus wine. This was not quite as good as my previous bottle of this from a few weeks before, but still drinking very well and probably one of my favourite reds from the night. Red fruit driven, very clean and well balanced but lacking some of the expressiveness and power of the previous bottle. Opened at Otto e Mezzo in HK. Slow-oxed for 2h before serving. This was very very good. Felt a little more natural and slightly less clean than the 2020 and 2022 that I've enjoyed recently, but also more expressive and felt like it was in a prime drinking window. Lots of fruit coming through backed with impressive structure for a Bourgogne and going down really easily. Marked a huge step-up from the Faiveley Grand Cru preceding it. Really fun to …

Good Bourgogne

Tasted quite new world'ish upon opening. Improved with air. The VV gives it more depth but I don't think it's giving any 1'er vibe which people keep saying. Basically a nice BR but no more than that.
