Label: Produced by the Emiliana Vineyards from organically grown grapes. Organic viticulture brings forth the true characters of the vineyard terroir and allows the grapes to express themselves fully. The result is distinctive flavors combine to make a remarkably unique and complex wine. Review: Dark purple color, its midnight in a glass. I get aromas of dark cherries, plum, canned mushrooms, poblano peppers and top soil, subtle leather satchel with a hint of green peppercorn. Lot's of American Oak. Flavors …

Wow, what a steal for $10!!! This is my first wine I have tasted from Chile and I am impressed. A dark ruby red color with medium body and 14.0% alc. This wine gave off smokey aromas and aromas of cassis, plums and a bit of spice. It tasted of berries, plums and coffee, there seemed to be another flavor going on that I could not identify. I had this wine with a butternut squash risotto, and due to how …

Nose: Very interesting, strong manure, after some airing started to trend toward dirt Mouth: Amazing mouthfeel, medium body with ~20 sec. finish but no sticking around. I got plums and pepper. After some airing, got some cherry in the initial attack, but in general lingering taste is tart, almost like cranberry. 90

This wine was a deep rich magenta and put forth on the initial nose candied strawberries and sour cherries and after swirling, notes of blue berries, raspberries and a hint of cedar. The taste was reminiscent of plums with a certain sense of creaminess. Tannins were soft and supple and the finish was medium with a lingering taste of dried cranberries. This is a great everyday drinking wine with a very fruit forward character and an $11 price tag.

Gibby's Uncorked, Flight I (Gibby's Wine Den, Geneva, IL) : Poured at a retailer tasting. Ruby/garnet color. Earthy plum notes and alcohol aromas. Overly alcoholic on the palate, with an odd tinny/metallic quality. Perhaps flawed.

A blend of 87% Carmenère, 4% Syrah, 4% Petit Verdot, 4% Tempranillo, 1% Malbec. Good, earthy Carmenere character. Complex on the nose. Medium- to Full- palate. Soft approachable front-palate with well, structured ripe tannins and mineral/graphite in the palate. A nice value.

Pretty damn good for the money. I had never even heard of Carmenere. Interesting nose and palate. Almost reminded me of a rioja but not quite. Interesting stuff, and for $10 would definitely buy again. Nose of coffee and dark rich fruit. Nice tannins. Not overly complex, but hey its a $10 bottle. Strange wine I keep trying to compare it to something, but it is very unique. 86-88 points.

Though I was skeptical, this does in fact have celery on the nose! Also a bit on the palate, along with dirt and espresso and some dark, dark fruit. A good wine for the money but not my thing.

Very big fruit, a little overly sweet on the nose. Fruit on the front and a little spice and oak on the mid palate. Nice long finish with some burnt toast and tobacco on the finish. Not overly complex, but nice enough for a daily. 4.5+10+16+6.5=8

smoky, spicy, bell pepper; unpleasant bitter elements. disappointed as this was reviewed quite well by the magazines.. better on day 2, less bitter, but still nowhere near a 88-89pt wine.

Strong and stemmy, this is not a balanced drink, but also not unacceptable as an everyday wine.
