Good wine, after about 30 minutes of breathing. Tannins are still present, although still medium bodied. Nice finish of plums, and earth.

wine is drinking nicely now; full body, rich taste with medium tannins. The wine looks ruby colored with minor bricking. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like prune, plum and medium toast.

This was pretty unbalanced, acidic, but had some tannic structure still remaining that might have taken it another few years. Surprising that it's a 2009, because it seemed like it was four years older. It took about half an hour to open up, revealing slight oak, mushroom, and cedar.
