Westbend Vineyards Riesling

Light pear skin on the nose. Strong pear and a little peach up front, with the pear dying away fairly quickly. This bottle is off-dry, with a little bitterness on the finish.

Light pear skin nose, soft apple up front, not very much acid, in fact, this bottle is almost flabby compared to others. Short finish as well.

Nice apple nose. Apricots upfront, but this slides way into a light finish of decent length, with most of the acidity upfront.

Light sweet apple nose. Really nice apple and apricot attack, with good acidity. The apricot carries on into the finish. I was told in the tasting room this has some Viognier, although I was unable to learn how much. You will believe it, as the middle and part of the finish is both very perfumed and a little lacking in acidity. V good fruit, at 12.5% maybe a little high for a "sippin' wine" but v. good picnic wine.
