Bago de Touriga Douro Terroso

Why are Portuguese wines more popular and available in the US? This is another example of a very good wine that would sell for twice the price if it came from California. Nose is dense with peppery fruit. Well balanced fruit forward (and it's 7 years old!), smooth tannins and dark berries. This is good from beginning to the very long finish.

On the first night, strong acidity, medium body, under-ripe, green fruit. Much better two nights later. Well balanced acidity and red fruit.
