Steeple Block Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark garnet with some development at the edge. Fresh aromas of berries fruits and vanilla right from the bottle and develops gradually with eucalyptus, black currant, smoke and licorice. Soft medium bodied with pretty high acidity, complete with flavors of black currant, plum, dried prune and chocolate. Soft drying finish with some minty aftertaste. A mid/entry Coonawarra Cab that is not impressive and not over deliver its price point. But it tastes better with food.
