A pity, last bottle :(. Should have waited longer with the other ones. This was simply perfect. First subtle signs of aging in the colour but harmonious aromas and taste. No pronounced tertiary aromas yet but fruit already fading.

Getting into its perfect drinking window. Tannins rounded, nice soft tertiary aromas.

Hints of pear, a bit tangy on day one. Day two, much more rounded. Let it lie for a bit more.

VDLT Pre-Arrival Tasting (Chief's apartment) : Seems like this is always remarkably sexy for a Corton. Not a lightweight for sure and much too young for sustained pleasure. I prefer the Clos du Roi but I wouldn't refuse this.
