Light, easy drink. Not overly complex

This is a clear vibrant light yellow colored wine. This 2022 vintage has the same tropical fruit, peach, melon, and lemon profile as the 2021 vintage. It's a bit lighter bodied than the 2021, and it's less ripe with 13.5% alcohol. The oak also seems lighter than the 2021 vintage. The finish is better with this vintage with no bite like the 2021 vintage. The acidity is racy making this a very refreshing wine. I'm giving this a point higher …

This is a clear, green tinged, straw colored wine. The nose is full of tropical fruits. The flavors are of green apple, lemon, lime with a significant minerality. These grapes were harvested earlier than typical of a Talbott wine. It's evident from the lower alcohol (13.9%) and the firm acidity. The wine has a silky consistency with a medium body. It is more Burgundian like than many CA chardonnays, and it's certainly less expensive than the good Burgundys.
