Light, golden yellow in color. Forward, attractive & fragrant nose of fresh, ripe fruit aromas of peaches, apples, pears, citrus notes of lemons/limes with floral overtones of honeysuckle, grassy notes, mineral driven, stony and a hint of salinity/sea shells. Medium-light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of green apples, citrus notes of lemons/limes & pears with minerals & stony. Long lingering crisp finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended …

Good acidity and stone fruit. Nicely balanced. If I'm going to drink Chardonnay, I want it like this. No hints of oak or tropical fruits. Clean. I only wish more CA chard were made in this style. The plastic/wax capsules, however, pretty though they are, are also a pain.

Delicious, with perfect balance of fruit and acid. White stone fruit and lychee. Slurpable.

One of the more enjoyable wines we've had in recent months. This had a very organic feel. A bit of cloudiness. Very flavorful. Most interesting is the lack of oak ad understanding that what we tasted was the grape, not what was done to it.

If you are looking for something w/o the influence of oak this is a good place to start. Just a bit hot otherwise a nice wine.

Finally, this had no fizz...maloactic or secondary ferm. This was smooth from the start. Maybe these need a year. Smooth, balanced, crisp, minerality. I'd probably get more except for the steep shipping they have..three tiers or whatever it is.

Nice on a hot night. Lots of pineapple, green apple and a smooth texture with a big dose of crips acidity. Dig it. Suggest pairing with a nice food with some weight to complement the texture and the acidity.

Clean tasting chardonnay with no influence of oak...sweet tasting with strong acidity...fizzy upon opening ...a solid effort from Greg Brewer.

Again, very good wine with a different taste profile for CA chard because of the stainless steel. Fairly priced. Had with shrimp/bean app made by Brian and Matt

Not carefully noted but was very tasty, sharp not at all flamboyant. I actually thought it was understated. Enoyable.

Nose had pear and white fruit; color was light straw; palate had no fizz (as in Oct2006) lush vevet feel integrated fruit.

This continues to be one of the only CA chards I buy year-in and year-out. My last bottle of the '05s, bring on the 2006! As always, a great drink and I love introducing people to the possibilities of unoaked CA chard -- everyone loved it last night!

Took to an offline. Had the fizz that other TNs mention. Once the fizz was gone it was really good. Pineapple, minerals, floral on the nose. I very much appreciated the "no oak."

anthonyiezzi Birthday Dinnner (Tre Vigne, Basking Ridge, NJ) : WIML91,NOWA,NOWS Tasted July 15, 2006 at an offline. Opened and served immediately in a Riedel Vinum Cabernet glass. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of pears, yellow apples, wet stone, a little mix of spice and some floral elements. Flavors of yellow apples, pinepples, pears and mineral. Medium acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short to mid term. No value recommendation.

Chard on the nose, but a very different thing in the bottle. Lots of acidity and fruit, even a hint of fizz. We drained the bottle, commenting that someone else must be drinking it cuz it was disappearing very fast!!!

Fizzy upon opening, calmed down after a little while. Unusual style with zero oak. Enjoyable outside on a warm day with fruit, etc. A good buy at about $25.
