Dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe dark fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & cassis with some earthy/dusty notes, tar, leather, spices & a hint of oak/vanilla in the background. Medium-deep bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe dark fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, herbs & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but should develop further with additional …

Vanilla, smoke, cedar, ripe red cherries and ripe red raspberries on the nose. The secondary aromas really overpower the primary ones. Guessing a lot of new French oak influnece here. The palate adds ripe dark plums and coffe grounds and overall tastes more primary. Almost tart. Call it the "revenge of the red fruits". Intensity of both flavors and aromas are medium +. I enjoy drinking this because of how different the nose and palate are. It drinks like it …

Plums on the nose, spice, anise. Nice acidity to counteract the grippy tannins; dense, with lots of plums and blackberries on the palate. Fruity but not jammy, with minor herbal notes and forest floor and a medium long ending with spice. A very good Priorat that delivers. Highly enjoyable and will improve with age.

Holy crap this is good. I could drink a lot of this. This isnt top tier priorat but its very good priorat for a stupid price of $20 at costco. Usually Good priorat starts at $40 and goes well north of that. I Went back to buy a bunch but it was gone. Damn. Fresh crunchy red purple fruit , asphalt , slightly tanniic in a good way , crazy good acidity. Great intoduction into spanish wine. Everyone reading this …

Eðalklúbbur, smakk #3 vor 2022 (Hlíðarás 10) : Loftað í 90 mín. Frekar dökkur litur. Í nefi: Hænsnaskítur, fjós, hland. Þessir tónar ruku fljótt úr víninu og þá komu fram: Sólber og dökkt súkkulaði. Eftir þyrlun þá spruttu upp alls konar kryddtónar: Meðal annars rósmarín og dill. Mjög þykkt á tungu. Flauelsmjúkt og með mikinn ferskleika. Ekvalyptus. Í lokin kom svo bragð eins og af brenndum Bismark brjóstsykri. Óeikað vín sem er virkilega gott.

A ready to drink blend from Spain. It is comprised of 35% Merlot, 30% Syrah, 19% Garnatxa, 16% Carinyena. Dark purple in color. Notes of red cherries, balsamic, licorice, cigar box, dark chocolate, anise, and wet stone. The Priorat soil Llicorella finds expression in this bottle. The acidity is medium and the moderate tannins are well integrated that create sufficient interest but also give a supple feel. The wine is matured in steel tanks and supposedly did not see any …

Priorat wine fair 2019 (and related events); 5/2/2019-5/9/2019 (Tarragona and various places in Priorat) : Purple colour. Black currants, jam and ginger on the nose. On the tongue lots of fruits and berries. Mostly cherries. Very nice acidity. Soft and round tannins. To be drunk young. Probably very good with food.
