Drank over 2 days, has an inky darkness with some greeness, dark Cherry, blk licorice, chocolate notes on the nose which translates to the palate. The wine has texture that reminds me of a light chocolate milk shake. The wine is delicious and has some life in it but I don’t think it will get that much better. Drink up!

In a very good place right now. Super fragrant nose that really stayed consistent throughout the night. Cassis, pencil shaving, ripe fruit, cacao. Good structure and well integrated. Over 3 hours it continued to improve.

Drank at Rich Table. Decanted at restaurant for 45 minutes before tasting. Dark in color with no real signs of brick. Still pretty tightly wound but continued to open in glass. Second glass showing much more balance and drank beautifully through the rest of dinner. Punchy mountain fruit, medium tannin, medium plus finish.

Took to a Napa Cab tasting ... this wine won the night against 8 other Napa cabs (Seavey, Mondavi Reserve, Dunn, David Arthur, Clos du Val Reserve, La Jota, Howell Mtn, Joseph Phelps Insignia, Gallica). Drank beautifully from start to finish, beautiful structure and mouthfeel. Very balanced, with long smooth finish. Powerful mountain fruit. Excellent wine.

Decanted briefly. This is still boldly structured with bright mountain fruit and minerality. Delicious and savory.

Outstanding. Beautiful hints of graphite on the finish that are wrapped around a thick core of blackberry and cassis. This one can go longer but gorgeous now.

Really nice, perfect with steak. Got a lot of black fruit and chocolate. Really soft tannins

Purchased at winery- 2 hour decant- certainly in prime and best described as big fruit forward and polished. Balance is a bit disjointed but that doesn’t detract much. Knowing how big this wine is, I paired it with filet mignon. I don’t see this improving from here and should provide nice drinking for another 6-8 years.

Decanted for 4 hours, very nice and smooth with soft tannins and balanced acidity. Hints of Dark Cherry and Raspberry with lingering cocoa and some spice.

First wine at the Napa Valley Vintners SOMM DC. Deep garnet red. Complex nose that needs some time to open up with notes of dried herbs, gravel, currants, sage, roasted red berries, some light baking spices and a hint of tomato. Medium tannins (6/10) with a medium plus body. A bit restrained on the palate with a red fruit profile on the attack. Turns a bit dark with air as well as some tobacco, pepper, leather and cocoa. Good acidity …

Pop and pour. Now we're talking! Still firm and muscular, this wine evolved beautifully over three hours with a lovely nose of fruit and herbs. On the palate, buoyant acid with dark, volcanic Altas Peak fruit, smoke, candied yams, pastille, and a long finish. Best AO I've had and a huge improvement from the bottle I had two years ago.

The initial color is a quite inviting, a glistening dark deep purple, of real substance if simply judging by appearance… I would say perfection in a glass? On the palate, quite lean and lacking depth, dark fruit appeal and substance on the palate. Upon tasting, I recognize that this wine is built for the long hall, it’s not overly acidic, but to the taste, it’s just not there. The wine is inhibited, closed, and not showing a whole lot of …

I think this may be in a dumb phase. There was an overwhelming coffee note on the palate that persisted over two days, and the rest was quite restrained. While the quality was apparent it didn't sing at all. I hope this will blossom into a nice secondary phase in a bit.

An elegant, soft, smooth beauty! Silky and smooth, seamless and wonderful integrated. Ageworthy to be sure, but approachable right now. A true winner! 92.8 points.

Key notes: - This is MASSIVE. Seriously, trust your young wine judgement and recognize that the "couple hour decant" isn't going to make a dent. We were multiple aeration runs (my last method of choice) until this showed its amazingness. - This is the best Stagecoach I've had, and the primary example of why it can be a single vineyard designate. Major props for the '10 & '11 stagecoach from AO being absolutely killer. - The wine itself is awesome. …

An extraordinary young cab that is evolving very well. Opened and consumed about 4 hours later. Rich, ripe, dark fruit and ripe but not overbearing concentration. Elegant and satisfying with a steak dinner or just to sip on and enjoy on its own. One of the best Napa Cabernets I have tasted.

Visited Alpha Omega this summer and did a barrel tasting of the single vineyards and Era. This one was heads and shoulders above the rest. Obviously the Era had a certain roundness... a polish, that the single vineyards didn't have but the Stagecoach seemed to have a lot more personality. We ended up buying a futures 3 pack of the Stagecoach. We received the wine the first of December and haven't opened it up yet. We were back in Napa …

My favorite of the big boys The wine looks purple, inky colored. The legs are Slow, thick and fine with a floral nose. Dark fruit blackberry, and dark cherries. Full body, silky texture with long finishes. Still young but drinking very well right now an will get better.
