Tempranillo. Lots of oak coming through on the nose - American? Coconut, marzipan, red plum. Hard to get past the oak. Medium acidity - a bit flubby, medium(+) fine tannins, medium finish. Should benefit from further ageing as oak influence softens Improvement on day 2 - oak more withdrawn and more noticable fruit coming through on palate
