Fresh and precise. I thought this was Old Hill because of the deep dark fruit. In a good place right now as noted here by another as the fruit shines.

Opaque, dark red with ever so slight fading at the edges. Lovely blueberry aroma. Smooth and deeply flavored on the palate. Blackberry, hint of raspberry and cherry, anise. Fine, firm tannins. Lovely acidity and balance. Finishes long and bright with blackberry and black cherry. Lovely Zin. Drink next 5 years.

Bright crimson in color. 14.9% ABV. Sublime nose of bright red fruits, mint and pepper. Medium body with medium acidity. Packed with lush, earthy fruits. The tannins are notable. Cherry, cranberry, plums and pepper on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. This is a big, well structured Zinfandel that I would be inclined to drink over the next several years while the fruits are still vibrant.

Popped and poured. This is spicy and red fruited but, as is often the case with wines from this vineyard, drinks more like a Brunello or cab than a zin. Austerity in the wrong word -there’s plenty of fruit- but it is serious. 94.

Popped and poured into a Glasvin Expression. Natural cork. 30% new oak. Intensely sour cherry and balsamic nose, with some baking spice and vanilla backing it up. The palate is light and cherry driven, but with a green and black pepperiness at the core that tightens it up. This is all framed by succulent acids and an imposing, fine tannic structure. The finish has a nice length and is spiced and peppery as well. Will be interesting to see the …

Part of a 2019 Bedrock vineyard horizontal. Poured alongside Bedrock Wine Co., Carlisle, and Limerick Lane. This was WOTN. Elegant, rich and burly at the same time. Fantastic fruit (ripe blackberry dominates), great acidity and structure. Medium length finish. Totally open for business.

14.9% abv. Dark ruby, plus aromatics. Ripe plum, blackberry, forest floor and a bit of mint and a dollop of white pepper on the finish. Excellent depth, length and balance. In my experience, wines from this vineyard take time to come around. I'm guessing this wine is still on the ascent and will drink well for many years to come.

Very nice rendition. Power, finesse and accessibility. Should hold for a decade or more.

This review after several days in WineArt……. Deepest magenta color…legs form quickly, but have good hang time.. Nose is very nice with blackberry, thyme, and a definite cedar wood note… Bold berry on the tongue , wood, thins out on mid palate and ending But does have a berry tannin finish that’s better than the mid palate.. Good wine… probably needs several years…

1 hour decant with another tasting at 2 hours. Dark ruby color with blackberry, Spanish cedar (maybe from the redwood fermenters?) and thyme on the nose. On the palate there is blackberry and clove with some tart cherry and the cedar/redwood notes after some air. There are grippy, but not overpowering, tannins and a medium acidity that leads to a long, dark berry finish. This has better structure than the 2018 when young. I think the 2018 will be great …

Spicy. Electric. Penetrating. You can taste the redwood. Wish it had a longer finish.
