Pale yellow, subtle nose of orchard fruits. Medium acidity, nice body with herbal notes, apples, bell pepper, a hint of lemon zest. Ending is medium, a tad of oak and spice. Air helped or hard fruits coming out - peaches, apples, papaya, and overall the wine is balanced and pleasant. Acidity is medium, length is medium-long, with lingering fruit. Very good and with a lot of life left.

With the winemaker. One btl corked and the other was perfect. Clear color (10 years old). Good body, hints of grass and grapefruit. Entering in for the long haul. Great aging potential.

PnP and it felt hot at first, notes of grapefruit with lemon, clean nose but a bit oaky and buttery which made me felt like I was drinking a Chardonnay or a Chardonnay blend. In about half an hour it got a bit more integrated. Maybe this needs a bit of time in the bottle? Then I found out this is a blend of 90% Sauvignon Blanc & 10% Semillon which explains the confusion in my taste buds. Im not …

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2016 pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of grapefruit, lemon, freshly cut grass, wild flowers, honeysuckle, poblano pepper, and mushrooms. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and has a creamy texture. Drink now with patience, as it really needs time to …

This was best at the beginning then faded some. Lemongrass, asparagus, gooseberry. More fresh than waxy and more NZ than BdX. Decent wine but for the price mehwould get crushed in a line-up against half-decent BdX Blancs or Sancerres.

Tropical fruit, a touch of lemongrass and beeswax. Wonderful depth and texture. This isnt your high acid Sauvignon Blanc, but it is well made. Good juice.

Best bottle yet. The fruit has put on weight since my last tasting with the acidity better integrated and balanced. The wine now has a rounder and richer element of citrus and tropical fruits. Seemingly at peak and can last at least 3 more years in excellent form.

Fragrant nose with green apples and cotton candy and some vanilla. Crisp, full, with lemon and apples, some vegetable notes, and a medium ending with some spice and oak. Good but a bit too unripe on the ending. Well balanced overall but hard to justify the price.

Bold, ripe and luscious fruit is massively packaged. It is creamy and intense but just doesnt sustain my interest. Not bad though with spicy Thai food.

Very enjoyable, one of our favorites of this style from CA. A great wine to get things started with. Rich and concentrated, medium body. Pear, lemon essence, some stone fruit, subtle nuttiness. Long finish with balance throughout. This should improve over the next 3-5 years.

Coravined and fridged for 5 days because of work and only now getting to a proper drink. Definitely an interesting Sauvignon blanc - combines the structure of a white Bordeaux with the freshness and pop of a New Zealand SB. On the nose, lemon zest, white flowers, almonds and slight hint of caramel. In the mouth a zippy acidity, but with a roundness and depth. It doesn’t have the grassy cat pee that I associate with some NZ SBs, which …

Wow, what a wine. Intoxicating scents of honeysuckle, limes, white stone fruit, lemon wax, and grapefruit. Complex and structured, a touch oily, almost creamy, so succulent and yet so elegant. Wisps of vanilla and green herbs infuse the long and mouthwatering finish. Even better as it warms. This is elegance in a bottle.

Super bon.

This lively and layered Sauvignon Blanc is drinking well in the early going, but it should be even better in another 6-12 months.
