Argillae, Grechetto, IGT

Simple well rounded, good body and structure but all the flavour characteristics you get from Italian whites (not many)

Ah Grechetto! Bob Ross might say "it's a happy little grape." And this wine is a nice expression of it. Light blonde color, slightly floral (but not overpowering) nose. Full, solid mouthfeel - texture of butter, but not flavor. Dry but not "pucker-your-lips" dry. Nice tannins. Hints of white gardenia and citrus. Broad, warm, elegant. Paired with homemade chicken-kale-pastina soup and crescia di pasqua (Umbrian Easter cheese bread) my better half baked today. Buonissimo!
