Nice showing from the Tramin cooperative despite the difficult year. I feel that all the major cooperatives are using less oak these days. That’s good (have not tried Eppans Riverva yet, a former bastion of new oak) and Maglen Riserva ‘14 is well made with fine acidity and good balance. Not a very personal wine. Some Alto Adige saltiness on the palate though. At 24 Euros this is nice QPR.

Rasberry smell, Nice fully red. Little bit of choclate and tabbaco. Also herb. Taste a little bit sweet. Caramel in the finish and a little bit of acid. Good wine!
