A bit more fruit dominant tonight than it was three years ago but still very excellent. Cooked with a glass of it so the rest went pretty quick. Very good and I wish I had some more.

I can se how people like the vegetal of Cab Franc, but in this warm vintage the Cab franc shouldn't be so Green that it tastes like somebody put a shot of juniper flavored gin in your bordeaux. Chewing through desert shrubs and bitter ivy just isn't good vegetal and enjoyable bitter at the end. The good 2009 fruit was up front but wine fell apart as it warmed and received more air.

In the glass 1.5 hours before tasting. Dark fruit profile with spice, touch of mocha and iodine and something else on the finish which I can only say was slightly dusty and good. Nice QPR. Second glass 3 hours after opening was even better. Drink now with decant but may age well for several years.

Very Enjoyable wine. I get a nose of blueberry with a hint of cherry. Nice lush but subdued pallet of plum, raisin and spice overtones. Long finish. Glad I have a few more of these.

The Cab Franc nose is very prominent. I get a fairly herbal flavor -- peppers and sage -- rather than a lot of fruit depth. I decanted it for a couple of hours and that didn't seem to add a lot in this instance.

Very enjoyable. Nice dark fruit and cherries on the nose. A moderately long finish. The Cab Franc adds some nice depth and earthy tones.

I really like this wine. Popped and poured at the in laws house. No detailed notes but I liked it. Not a fruit dominant cab. Wish the petite Verdot was not as apparent but I would buy this again.

I can't tell if this had some tCA or just nasty herbaceous flavors of the Cab Franc. Great nose coming out of the bottle, but had that greenish twang mid-palate and through a bitter finish. I let this sit in the decanter for several hours and it just got worse. I thought maybe i pulled this too soon, but looking at others notes and the fact that this got much worse with time, it has to be a bad bottle …

Not as impressed the second time around. A very good wine, but not what I remembered from the first couple of bottles.

Another good bottle. Could be creeping to a 92. Gaining some complexity both on the nose. Lots of fruit but not a typical fruit bomb. dark fruit, berry, again some raisin and an interesting pop on the medium finish of cocoa or carmel. Nice wine!

I enjoyed this wine. Had nice nose of plum, soil, raisin. The palate was reasonably complex with tar, earth, plum and an interesting hint of carmel on the finish. This wine should also get better with time.

Really dark red garnet color. I'm actually stumped on the nose, it's pretty closed, even 2 hours after opening although I would suggest blueberry pie. Palate is really developing in the 2 hour window. There is both a sense of leaves and blueberry on the palate. A tad hot still, but not overwhelming. The oak is also still a little front and center, although the fruit is coming through with a lot of focus. Perhaps a little out of balance …
