strong chemical nose. combo of oxidized fruit and petroleum. red fruits prevail--cherry cran but good ripeness. mostly center palate. would score higher if petroleum odors blow off.

Opened to have a red wine out at my B-day all white wine drinking party. It went quick and didn't make it to the next day this time. Still drinking like a champ.

Deep garnet color. Large nose, mostly cherry. Big plum and ripe mangos join cherries on the pallette. A little ash and banana round it out. Pretty delish. Good hefty velvet feel and some complexity in the ending. At this QPR, I have to give a thumbs up.

Fruit nose of cherry and spine and subtle green pepper (!) Surprisingly full in the mouth with cherry and raspberry. Some heat on the finish, though this improved over the course of an hour. Great.

Drank on Valentines day with my wife. We saved a little bit for the second day and (like the other reviews) it was much better after a day. Pure balance of deep red fruit. Very tasty.

Light-red in the glass. Nose of cherries and strawberry with a little earthy-funk. This was a tad too acidic right out of the bottle. Almost off putting. Alcohol is really present early on as well. Some swirling is bringing out darker fruit, but the palate is a bit thin right now. Needs to flesh out a bit. Update later.

This pinot is very acidic. On the 2nd day it feels like it's in perfect balance for drinking alone. On the first day it was too acidic for stand-alone drinking, but it would have been fantastic with a tomato-based pasta or coq au vin.
