Earthstone Chardonnay

Light fruity grassy. Apple and pear notes. Lightly Oaked

Really interesting color on this wine - a little golden, a little grassy green and a little cloudy. The green particularly is noticeable as the wine is pouring into the glass. Pretty cool color combo. From there the nose is lemon, cantaloupe, stone fruit and fresh cut grass. A very mellow, but seemingly balanced nose...quite pleasant. Not too bad. Actually a product of Rodney Strong Vineyards. Good fruit enough oak to note it's effects on the palate. @$9 this is a good wine for the party of mostly wine drinkers who scoff at the higher prices selections.
