Medium tannin, acidity and body. Slight taste of coffee. Boysenberry, black fruit, sour cherry and some pepper. Compared to some other syrahs, which are more fruit forward, this wine should really accompany food. Very nice with lamb burgers.

Smells of blackberry, underripe plum, stuffy hot forest, clove, black pepper. Maybe some herb? Definitely spices. Interesting and deep but not too impressive on the nose. On the palate, it’s medium bodied with medium- tannin and medium+ acidity. There is red currant and distant cranberry on the palate. There are prune notes but the wine is not jammy at all. Pleasant finish. 8+/18

Deep purple colour. Pronounced and developing nose with blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, crowberry, rosemary and black black. Medium (+) taste of blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, crowberry, rosemary, thyme and black pepper. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium tannins. Medium body. A very good Crozes-Hermitage. Needed half an hour to open. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with game.
