on dit que c'est lors des mauvaises années que l'on voit les grands domaines... ici, c'est simplement une mauvaise année. nez et approche en bouche sur le cassis. un certain velouté mais qui ne dure pas. Les tannins assêchent aussitôt la bouche en finale.

Intensiver Duft, viel dunkle Frucht, subtile Röstnoten, Heidelbeeren; cremiger Gaumen, geschliffenes Tannin, wohl dosierte Säure, zeigt Charakter, ordentlich Druck und eine gute Länge. Gelungen.

Decanted 1,5 hour, served at 16C. Rich and opulent, black berries, prunes, menthol, tobacco. Velvety tannins, great volume. Excellent wine full of Pomerol’s noblesse. At its peak right now.

Quelle belle surprise. Je craignais un vin trop jeune, fermé. Mais les saveurs sont vives et exubérantes, sans excès d'artiices toutefois. Nez complexe et envoutant Aromes de Prunes, cassis, tabac fleurs sêchées. à boire maintenant! Mais possiblement pourrait se bonifier d'autant.

A wonderful wine. Ready to drink in my point of view. Decanted 2 hours. Cassis, leaves, tobacco. Tannins are perfectly integrated. Drank with beef fillet - veal/mushrooms could be a better match. Château La Clémence is a sure value in Pomerol (the 2009 was amazing!).

Bordeaux 2014 en primeur with Winefinder (Munchenbryggeriet, Stockholm) : charming and pleasant, sweet fruit and soft attack, forward. will probably be great early drinking bordeaux (5-8 years from now perhaps) but not as seriously structured as some of the st juliens primeurs.

En Primeur Bdx. 2014 tasting event, tasting pour, short note. Very similar to most of the other Pomerol’s and Saint – Emilion’s on display here today. Perhaps slightly lighter and thinner in style, which actually is a good thing. Still, not my style really (and I do like Right Bank Bordeaux). (83 – 84)

Perhaps a little high on the oak but it balances well with a very full bodied wine. Very nice and i think that it will improve greatly with time.
