Santé smakk (Eyjarslóð 9) : Mjög ljós litur. Í nefi: Jarðarber, pipar og súkkulaði. Á tungu: Mikill ávöxtur. Jarðarber. Einnig var þarna pipar, smá stemma og biturleiki. Gott jafnvægi. Fínt vín.

Decent wine, not terribly special. Quite dark in color. Dark, dusky cherry fruit in the nose. Quite fruity and tangy in the mouth. For what it is, pretty good. 4-12-15-8: 89/100.

Annual Bolomey & Sprezzatura Wine Tasting and Dinner (Restaurant Entrepot, Amsterdam, NL) : Trade tasting, brief note. Cool and minerally style but with sufficient ripe fruit to deliver charm rather than austerity, well balanced, elegant and fresh, supple but with some youthful grip, still a bit tight on the finish, good length. Very precise wine making here.

Aurélien Verdet Cuverie Visit and Tasting (Arcenant - Burgundy) : Tasting at the domaine, all bottled in the past few months. Floral and spice driven start with combination of red and black berry nose. Very attractive start,followed by similar flavors, just slightly lighter than the nose implied. Perhaps this will pick up weight in bottle. Good young.
