Domaine Laurens Marcillac

This is a nice Marcillac with the usual ivy tinged fruit, saline minerals and Gascon tang. We drank this over two evenings and on the first it seem to have more angular tannins than those of say, Domaine du Cros, but on the second they seemed to have softened. This could be as much a function of pairing (tuna cake vs rabbit in a savoury sauce) as of the effect of 24 hours in an opened bottle. Good.
