Good fruit, nice round mid-palate. A bit short on the finish but still enjoyable overall. Not showing significant signs of age.

Cork disintegrated though I was able to extract with minimal crumbing into the bottle. Wine opened up after just a few minutes with nice casis and leather flavors. Acidity was good. I was surprised by how much flavor remained, though it was not too complex. I suspect this would have been much better several years earlier.

Nice balance, fruit fading, but still going strong. Very enjoyable still.

Past its prime, but still an interesting wine that I appreciated; nose has some tertiary notes including earth, mushroom, and cedar, while the palate still has plenty of red and dark fruits, although the finish is slightly clipped and the acidity is fading; Drink now

Dark brick red with orange rim; intense nose of damp basement and wet earth, morel mushrooms and cherry fruit, eucalyptus and leather; whiff of balsamic vinegar and soy sauce; the flavors follow suit with additional notes of ripe black cherries and mixed berries, pomegranates and Asian spices; mature, fleshy and mouth-coating; has a wonderfully refined middle sweetness that segues effortlessly into the dry, spicy finish; great depth, dimension, and length; contemplative – stays with you long after the last sip. …

If it was just for the nose, I'd give this 95 points....aromatic and rich. Notes of cab fruit, cedar, secondary sweat and spices. Complex and rich. This alluring package doesn't quite translate to the palate, which is a bit thinner than the nose might suggest. Palate gains some depth and roundness with air. Improved from prior outings, and a nice bottle of wine

My last bottle. Upon opening, was a 92-point experience. This still a healthy-looking garnet color with strong fruit aroma. Out of the bottle, it showed lots of leather and other mature notes, with a barely detectable hint of mint--perhaps only in my imagination. The mint faded quickly as did much of the fruit; over the next 2-3 hours the experience went from 92 points to 85 or so. Yes, it's going downhill but still a very nice wine. I'm impressed …

Decent red fruit, but a little lackluster. I think this may be past it's peak. If you still have a bottle drink up. It's still decent, but I wouldn't hold on to it much longer.

No detailed notes. Nice cedar aroma and flavor. Medium-bodied, showing good maturity. Last bottle.

Perhaps a shade better than the prior bottle, tasting a bit more full and young,

Seemed a bit thin originally. Improved significantly the second day. Dark cherry, cassis on the nose. Rich mouthfeel and medium long finish.
