Cellar dweller from 2016 but no vintage stamped on bottle. Pours a chestnut color with a few fingers of eggshell foam. Aromas of sour plums, baked oranges, fruity brettanomyces, roasted chocolate malts, cranberry, fig and composted cherry pits. Palate is complex with roasted coffee beans evolving through a tart fruit with layers of baking spices evoking notes of nutmeg, star anise, plum skins and dried citrus peel.
