Pale gold colour. Aromatics represent the palate well. Ripe cantaloupe and mango, with grapefruit and wet flowers. Fresh and full bodied, syrupy in the mouth. Citrus dominates the long finish.

Nice patio wine. A bit sweet. Lychee. Floral. Not ideal with salmon.

Personally, not a gewurz fan because most are too ginger-perfumed and adorned with RS. This one avoids those pitfalls, it's closer to dry with great balance and minerality. Clean finish.

A very nice wine for the patio, not as good as '03, still there is plenty of lychee and grapefruit to go around. Tinhorn Creek is very consistent with this variety.
