DuMOL Chardonnay Bressay Estate Vineyard

Started out with a little oaky bitterness which dissipated eventually. Great balance of acidity, citrus and peach with slight chalkiness. Overall very good wine but not the best QPR.

Pulled the remaining 5 bottles from my cellar and brought them to the home cooler. They disappeared!!! Wow some outstanding DuMOL Chardonnay came from this vineyard this vintage.

The 2021 DuMol Bressay Chardonnay boasts a distinct nose of limestone, peach, pear, and wet stone. The juicy fruit notes on the palate are prominent, including peaches, pears, and a hint of litchi. The precise acidity contributes to a balanced and mouthwatering finish with substantial length. In my opinion, it’s a 97-point stunner.

Muscadine, tart, lemon, bright, crisp, high acid The wine looks greenish gold colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon and artichoke. It tastes like lemon, artichoke, asparagus, hay/straw and jasmine leaves.

One of the best Chardonnays I have had in a while. Nose of white flowers, lemon, apple. Palate is sweet orchard fruit, minerals, and vanilla. Drank over two days and the minerality really shined the second day. DuMol holds up against some of the best Chardonnay in California. 95 points.

Complex, savory, honeyed citrus, spice

Tight n a bit bitter on initial open. Let it breath for 1.5-2hrs and the sweet floral notes come through and the wine really blends. Also good as it comes up to room temp while it breathes
