Hood River Tasting Trip With The Sierra Club (Hood River) : Blackberries on the nose are accompanied by some interesting pepperoni scents. The wine has nice acidity and brighter blackberry fruits contribute well. There's a bit of heat that comes in with the structure later. This is a heavier, spicy Merlot.
