Tasted over three days. Clear gold in the glass. Wonderful nose which evolved over all three days. Began as a straightforward grassy/ generic citrus tone and has now added an herbal element showing sage and a hint of Rosemary. The wine really bloomed on the second and third day. What began showing crisp, citrus and mineral notes has added some nice weight to the mid palate, and really found some wonderful balance between the fruit and acidity. What really surprised …

Rich, almost Alsatian impression at first, with tropical fruits and mouth coating body. This gives way to intense lime and minerals. Tiny hints or age showing, but far from over the hill.

Nice nose showing apple, floral scents and hay. Flavors match nose. Soft at first then acidity hits. With air this wine turns absolutely delicious.

for what it is, it tasted pretty perfect tonight. sparkling, light, complex, not trying to be one thing or another..... pretty much a delightful drink.... pop and pour - and even if the drinking window says ends 2008 it's drinking brilliantly right now. so glad I have another bottle, and honestly would be thrilled to serve this to, well pretty much anyone. yes, I liked it that much.

While in no danger of falling apart, on this outing I am picking up just a tiny hint of bitter lamp oil/moldy pineapple that might add appeal on occasion to Riesling but sort of betrays the simplicity of the grape/wine or otherwise dampens my enthusiasm. I blame a previous poster for bringing up broccoli, a food I have detested since childhood and can be found in this wine if you look for it, so I'm trying to twist it into …

Obviously not cold stabilized because the bottle has thrown a ton of tartaric in my 55F cellar, this wine was okay but far from special. The nose was kind of skunky, almost brett-like, but really more like old water from the bottom of a pan you steamed aspargus in. Vanilla and spice top notes in the nose as well. Flavors of rhubarb, broccoli, stinky cheese (Red Hawk or something like it) and a bit of citrus that carries through to …

I had expected more from this wine given my recent experience with PV's unique '06 Semillon. But this wine, to put it bluntly, was a BORE. Nose of grass and herbs and flavors of pineapple, lemon and some mineral. But I expected more, especially for $24 from Garagiste. I know, PB is a lowly grape grown in Alsace, Oregon, elsewhere and mostly finds it's match with food - fondue, quiche, maybe choucroute garnie. But this wine had very little to …

Punchy intense blast of lemon and apple fruit, great acididity, finishes a little short, but still impressive PB.

Nice wine. Aromas of apples and some citrus. Nice and round on the palate with a solid dose of acidity. Long finish of lemons with some minerality. Went spectacularly well with some spicy sushi.

Excellent. Intense aromas of apple, honeysuckle, and beeswax. Flavors of honeyed apple, stone, a nice juicy finish with more stone. Great intensity and a nice change from riesling, chenin blanc. Had with pork medallions with Chinese ginger/lemon sauce.

Clean nose of lemon and some crushed stone. Very muted. Acidity is perfect and the lemon and stone nose is much more pronounced on the palate. Finish is surprisingly long for a pinot blanc. Outstanding effort.
