+1pt when I paired it with citrus fennel salad, salmon and beurre blanc.

This is an interesting experience! A little funk on the nose right out of the bottle. stored at 7c and begin opening up as temp went up. On the palette there's notes of white peach, some honey?, a little waxy as what alot of folks mentioned, but not much "bees wax" on the palette. Some kind of citrus notes as well on the nose, almost a sweet citrus/pineapple/mandarin characteristic

Tasted blind. This wine made my salivary glands gush. Oily in texture, bitter finish. Slight funk on the nose.

First time with a marsanne - drinks like a mix between Chardonnay and a greener Riesling. Nose is fruit forward. Palate is round, almost waxy. A slightly bitter, aspirin like finish, medium length.

Friday Double Blind Tasting $60+ (Bin 75 Alpharetta, GA) : Greenish gold; apricot, roses and lime, fat and rich, served a touch warm, floral, volcanic, leesy, lower acid and a bit top heavy.

Very perfumed on the nose. With a big texture on the palate.

Strong flavors, even for a Marsanne Roussane. Very minerally, saline, a slight metallic edge coupled with ripe tree fruits. A bit too much, heavy texture coupled with some pretty strong flavors. A second glass was tough.
