Weekly tasting group RWP #281: 4 whites + 9 reds fully blind (@ BS) : Concentrated bouquet with red berries, bell pepper, rustic impressions and some glue. On the palate dark berries, chocolate, sweet spices, herbs, sweet spices like cinnamon, sweet licorice root and also beautiful acidity. Beautiful wine.

Vertical Marion Winemakers Dinner (Il Grappolo Blu (CPH)) : Exciting wine. Very compact, concentrated and full-bodied. Currently mainly sweet dark fruit and vanilla.

Nothing like a new love in life....A dark purple luminescence with powerful Candied Cherry, Plume, clove and a hint of vanilla on the nose. Giving way to Blueberries and Chocolate after an hour of opening. Black cherry and raspberry jam with an aftertaste of leather and menthol. Long finish to this complex and constantly evolving red. I'd say Teroldego is a new love in life, made in a recietto style.
