Now this is really quite something. Round and plush, earthy but plenty of bite still. Hint black pepper. Heavy sediment for a pinot. Unfiltered and partial whole bunch fermentation apparently. Sensible alcohol at 13.5%. Top notch. A steal at £15.95 on offer from local independent. I was immediately reminded of a top Burgundy 2009 Villages or Vieilles Vignes. Drinking right now this minute. Fabulous stuff.
