Pazo de Galegos Albariño Rías Baixas Premium Selection

Orange, pineapple, and grass on the nose. Richer, fuller-bodied version of Albarino, with some malo acid and yeasty notes that remind me a bit of Cali Chardonnays more than crisper, raicer Albarinos. Palate of tropical and orchard fruit, mineral, and lees. Acids are nice but not quite as bright as I would like. Good.

Full bodied with citrus and some minerality.

Bright, but fairly full-bodied and leesy, with tropical and grassy flavors.

Sweet, bright, flavors of lemon and hints of tangerine and orchard fruits. Medium to long mineral finish. Paired with cured meats, and lights cheeses. Wonderful.

Tropical fruit, chalk, and freshly-cut grass on the nose. Rich citrus and minerality on the palate. Medium-light body, crisp with nice acidity. This is a dead ringer for Loire Sauvignon blanc, to the point I'd question this wine's varietal.
