J. Brix Riesling Augur Kick-on Ranch

Interesting wine. On day one, nose was restrained, almost no fruit showy. What was there was minerally and astringent. Pleasant, but not something I would buy again. Day two showed a much improved wine. Some petrol showed on the nose and more fruit was pleasant on the palate. This combined with the wine's substantial body to provide a nice new-world riesling experience. Worth following.
