Bodega Señorio de Villarrica Rioja Marvellous Number One

Deep red. Definitely a Rioja in the modern style, with lots of fruit, noticeable oak, good acidity and moderate tannins. While the name "Marvellous" is off-putting, the wine is much more promising. It appears to have been crafted by a committee of marketing, winemaking and financing. Enjoyable now, as it integrates with time it should reveal some interesting nuances.

Did not expect much from this wine because of the name "Marvellous Number One", but it was a good and easy to drink Rioja
