Lots of red fruit; Taught at first, but opened up over a couple of hours showing nice ripeness. Some Brett adding appealing earthy games notes. Very nice affordable Bordeaux for a good low fuss meal

Lots of red fruit and plum skin, a bit of gamey brett action in an attractive rather than dirty sense, and nice softness. Good daily drinker and typical of what cheap Bdx should taste like.

Very round, gamey, big on the mid palate, a great experssion of Merlot. Low acidity, soft yet with some chew, can drink now. Silky. This Chateau is apperently inland and north of Recougne (used to be owned by the same guy). Apperently 10 km from Pomerol? This is on clay and sand which is why the acidity is so soft I am being told.

Big cherry tart taste; hint of 'seawater' on the nose. A bit tannic.

100% Merlot. Dry and a touch softer tannins. Some dark cherry. Full bodied. (PS 9-12-06)
