big and plush, but doesn't taste boozy or over the top.

Another stellar showing! Wow! About as pure and substantive as Australian Shiraz gets. A touch flamboyant, strikingly balanced. Exceptional range and depth!

Boysenberry, blueberry, blackberry, mint (with a touch of eucalyptus), and berry liqueur perfume. Rich and beautifully balanced, smooth, gripping, and very long. Among the finest Shiraz that I have tasted.

Opaque, deep dark purple in the glass. On the nose: immediate Earthiness (Ferric clay notes), blackberries, vanilla and botanicals notes (echinacea), as it opened up over a few hours smoother with the addition of black currants. Beautifully balanced in the mouth with an almost creamy texture; lovely mouthfeel. Blackberry, plums, black currant, marscapone and mocha. Despite being 14.5%abv alcohol felt restrained. Tannins so smooth and rounded, with great length. Esquisite wine.

Much better nose than 2014. Marzipan red fruits. For the price, wouldn't buy it. Bit weird. Buy Torbreck. This is a different style. Fair enough. But not my style.
