Trevlig men lite anonym doft, mycket gula äpplen, citrusfrukt, lite smörighet och lite stenighet. Hög, väldigt trevlig syra, bra kropp och bra intensitet. Ett gott vin, men kanske lite tråkigt.

The Rotating Dinners, I.1: California Syrah (Chicago, IL) : Fantastic stuff. A slight bit of funk accentuates a big nose of crushed rocks, saline, and lemon peel. The palate is light and crisp, with an incredible amount of acidity. Bright, stony, and refreshing. Lovely.

California Syrah (Webster Wine Bar) : Pale straw. Big nose of orchard fruit, citrus and a distinct rubber note that I found more interesting than off putting. The palate is fresh, lifted and persistent. Really quite enjoyable if a bit simple and one dimensional in flavor.

Almost astringent when opened, this then relaxed and developed a ravishing waxy-pearly texture. Addictive tanginess. Apple blossom scent. (Nomacorc sugar cane closure.)

Delicious! Much stronger vintage for this wine compared to 2012. Pure and complex with a lingering finish. I just love De Moor wines, very hard to find now.
